Well “Well…..”, I am encouraging you to look at the Crimes Against Children Research Center’s fact sheet. Of course our prime goal is to protect our children, and the fact sheet provides rational guidelines that are researched and not reactionary.

Have you been on Myspace and looked at these young Girls profiles? They don’t have them set to private, for one, and then they post pictures of themselves in bikinis and in sexy poses. Some can’t be any older than twelve. Then their comments are references to where they will be tonight at 7:00, who will be with them,and I’ve even seen them post what they will be wearing. It’s Parents Jobs to monitor this stuff. My daughter has one, but it is set to Private and I have the password so I can monitor the stuff that is going out there. You can NOT be too safe when it Comes to our CHILDREN!

Thanks for passing on reliable information about these issues. When the subject of online predators come up there tends to be too much fearmongering. When we don’t really know the real threats kids face, we don’t deal with real problems and we lose all credibility in the eyes of our kids.

I don’t even know what to say, I just shake my head.
Someone should google the officer and show him how you could easily find his address and then using google maps get directions to his house.
Sigh too much paranoia in this world is not a good thing.
